Hello Matt.

I share a PC and a beige with a Mac keyboard and a USB mouse. The PC is on a desktop case , the Beige on top of it and then the main monitor. The Asus motherboard in the PC recognizes all the Apple special keys but the CD-eject one. I also had to do some tweaking with RandyRants' SharpKeys software.

I use a Dr. Bott switch.

Check this too:

I plan to switch to the iView KVM or a Petite switch as I haven't been able to find an Apple keyboard, new or used, that doesn't repeat keys. White or beige PC USB keyboards are nowhere to be found locally.
Will use the Dr. Bott then to switch a secondary monitor.

The Beige doesn't recognize the Spanish-language layout and require some ResEdit tweaking for fixing that. I plan to put a Sawtooth in an ATX desktop case and replace the Beige.

Best regards.

Does anyone have a setup where they can use one keyboard, mouse and monitor between a Mac and a PC? I need to have access to both but I don't have room on my desk for two separate systems.

I'm looking at getting a USB KVM switch, anyone know if this will work?

Any suggestions?
