A faster way it so turn off half of the extensions using the Extensions
Manager. Then if you hang, you know it¹s in that half. If it doesn¹t hang
then it¹s in the half that¹s turned off. Repeat until you whittle it down to
the culprit. 

Of course there could be more than 1 problem extension.
