I have a 5th gen ipod, and it got updated to firmware 1.1. Now, when I try to play video, it plays for about 30 seconds, freezes, and then plays with no sound. I have tried hacking the SysInfo information like the PC users do, but the iPod Updater 2005-11-17 and 2005-10-12 are too smart for this. They still recognize that the updater has firmware 1.1 installed.

Any way to downgrade my firmware without erasing my ipod?

 TIA,
 Lavode
