Hi Doug,
Your card must have a DVI port and an ADC port on it, both being for digital displays (the DVI is industry-generic, the ADC is Apple's proprietary that
conducts signal and power for driving USB ports, etc.).
A DVI to VGA adapter can be had on the list for a nominal price (all the G4s and G5s with your kind of card came with this adapter as OEM equipment), the ADC to VGA is harder to come by - I had to bite the bullet and get a $30
adapter from good ol' Griffin Technology to make it happen.

Hope this helps,
Dana

Having a new computer and new 19" LCD monitor and not being able to use them was just not an option, so I found the adapter on the Radio Shack web site and it said most stores have them. Went to 2 local ones and neither one had it! Also saw that Staples and Wal-Mart carried them so I stopped by Staples and picked one up there. A bit pricey at $25, but at least I get to play with the new stuff now!

Just a message from Doug...
