Although the Users Guide doesn't mention it, I verified through a web search that Data Rescue II can clone to a disk image, and not just to a physical device. This is important, since it erases everything on the device it clones to!
My question is, in using Disk Utility's New Image function to create the image, what options should I choose? Also, should I clone the disk or just the sole volume on it? I'm cloning a failing 19+ GB disk where the sole volume is HFS+. - Aaron --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
