Thanks, Ralph, but I don't think that adapter will work in a G5.  
While Googling around for a fix, I came across this 'hack' on  
xlr8yourmac.com. I think this will work as a partial solution for me,  
and the photos demonstrate just how tight the fit is for the drives  
in a G5:

My only concern with this would be the extra cabling between master  
and slave. Does anyone think that would end up causing data  
corruption,  or just a bit of a slowdown?
