Hi. It has always struck me how different Macs and Windows are when it comes to sounds.
The Mac 'chime' is so dull, compared to the start up tone of Windows. Windows has those annoying sounds when windows maximise, minimise and when alert messages pop up. Also what happened to the speaking alerts from OS9. I installed it on my Pismo the other day and run the updates and suddenly it start speaking to me, I had forgotten about it, it doesn't happen in OSX.
