I almost reposted this question as I knew I worded it wrong.  What I  
meant was that I no longer have access to the computer I wish to de- 
authorize.  I know how to do it with a computer that is in use.   
Someone told me it is possible to go somewhere in the iTunes store  
and de-authorize a computer that is no longer being used.  I hope I  
made that clear this time.  Sorry.
