I mislead you by using the word Crash, kernel panic logs are stored in: /Library/Logs/Panic Reporter There's a line toward the end that says: 'BSD process name corresponding to current thread:' That will tell you the actual process causing the panic; alas, it's called a 'kernel panic' for a reason, 90% of the time it will be 'kernel_task'. One of mine says 'vmware-vmx' though, meaning it was Fusion that caused that one. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
