Hi Charles,

Below is the fix (from the G3-5 list, by Jack Sparrow, September 30,  
2008) - it worked like a charm for me, although I had to re-enter my  
all my network locations/settings (no big deal as I use DHCP),  
passwords etc after the restart. I suggest therefore that you note  
all network location details (IP numbers (if you don't use DHCP),  
server addresses etc) before you do this procedure - cheers, peter
