A 733 Digital Audio (previous model year) will run circles around a
Quicksilver 733, because of the QS's lack of L3 cache.

Yes, as others have said, the 800MHz single (QS 2002) also lacks the
L3.

Is there any particular reason (apart from prices) that anyone would
prefer a Digital Audio or Quicksilver to the Mirrored-Door machines? I
think the MDDs support more RAM (2GB?), I thought I heard rumours
about reliability problems with some MDD models (maybe not enough
cooling in the case)?
