Are > you trying to overclock the CPU? > I wasn't overheating before or overclock, It's just that the computer room/office tends to get a bit warmer than the rest of the house in the summer months and rather than spring for an air conditioner, the other thing that came to my mind to do was a heat sink swap. Thought maybe the copper one (out of a 1.42) might be a little kinder on the system. that's all. Also the thought of picking up a 1.42 upgrade one of these days has entered my mind.
