All transfers loose quality from their originals. That's just the nature of the beast. They key, really, is how you intend to reproduce them, once you're on your computer - the printer's resolution. What kind of quality are you wanting? And how many photos? Anybody know of good scanners? I'm not a fan of Epson products. Too many problems with them. Canon LiDE scanners can be had for $50 to $90. Even Amazon carries them. Our LiDE 70 is great - it leeches off the USB for its power, so it's convenient to use. If you don't use a scanner much... maybe you shouldn't buy one at all. Check with local photographers - they might offer a scanning service. Or perhaps some LEM person might be willing to do it for you. - Dan. -- - Psychoceramic Emeritus; South Jersey, USA, Earth --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
