Vince, If you buy the new fan at Other World Computing, they will send you a great sheet of directions how to install it. Very good, reliable vendor of Mac parts old and new.
Also, on the Apple site, look up your Quicksilver and see if it has directions for installation. When I was installing my RAM I found a Youtube video and I ran thru it step by step because I am a visual person. I have the 733 mhz Quicksilver - that's your machine, right? Is there a 933 mhz one? I don't think. If it make you feel better my fan broke too. But it was still under warranty at the time, so I just took it to the shop. It was a horrible horrible noise inside the case.
