Its not a Safari 4.0 bug!  I have the same behavior is Safari 3.2.3

I know that doesn't help you much but it may help the guru's figure it
out.  I'm not even sure when it started since I normally use Firefox.

p.s.  As a former semi frequent top poster  I have to say bottom
