But if you restart, it works fine for days on end? Gosh, my intuitions about all my machines are confirmed. The benefits of restarting have not gone away from the days of OS 9 but have extended into an actual useful period of days! Can you not make it known that there will be a period of 30 secs or so at a set time when the machine is down, in which you can restart. Or perhaps it is more complicated than I imagine. The alternative is to track down the fault. What have you got as an OS?
