The place to start would be with your phone company....it's their lines any DSL will be carried on, regardless of who offers it. They can tell you if you even qualify for DSL (<18,000 feet from switch, no more than one analog-digital transition.) On my phone company's website (Qwest, you probably have Pac Bell?) there's a form you can enter your phone # and see if it qualifies for DSL. If it qualifies, you may have your choice of ISP's. If not you need to look into something else, like cable, satellite or cellular service. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
