Oh, I was able to make a perfect observation of every millisecond.  
It's like time slowed down. This was a brand new Seagate 60 laying on  
top of my 7600 when I tilted up the drive bays to get at the cable.  
Watched it slide off in slow motion, like a hollywood movie.
