G5 2.3 early 2005, Leopard 10.5.8

ok, before I mention what-all I've done with this guy... (which is
everything) anybody know what might cause this:

When I boot up in verbose, everything looks fine until the end when I
get these time-outs....

"timed out waiting to write kernel symbols"
and this one... "timed out waiting for IOKit to quiesce"

Then it goes to the nice blue screen, no arrow... and I have to push
the power button to power it down.

and yes, I've ran memtest, applejack, pulling all pci cards,
disconnecting everything, apple hardware test, techtool pro...
everything says all is fine. I wonder what would make the machine hang
like that? It started doing it right after I got a M-Audio pci card
for some reason, but I took it out.... Jeff
