Here's what I will do first. Take the power cord out from the mains. 
Remove and replace the memory, video card, and the ribbon cable and 
power cable that goes to the HD and DVD/CD drives. Once everything is 
connected and seated well---you will know because you'd take time to put 
them back in carefully---hit the power button and wait. Then come and 
say what happened.
