I think you are wondering why your computer isn't telling you your iPod is 
fully charged??? It won't tell you that but your iPod should if you quit iTunes 
while it's plugged in... I have the very first iPod ever made and that is what 
mine does, on the screen without iTunes running it will show either the battery 
charging by blinking the bars and say "CHARGING" or it will show all the bars 
lit up and it will say "CHARGED"...
