So someone gave me a single 533 digital audio g4 yesterday. I successfully put a 733 quicksilver processor in it, and then decided to overclock it to 800MHZ. I "successfully" did this, except that when 0s9 starts up it says that the build in memory test detected a problem with the cache memory and to contact apple support. I zapped the pram, reinstalled os9. Nothing worked, i can still use the computer though and it recognizes it as an 800MHZ G4 with 256kb level 2 cache. Thanks in advance!
