I was getting ready to write this last night when the power went out. I attempted to use the candle method to reflow the solder, which was an epic fail. The problem is worse now. Oh well, thank you all for your help, I've learned a lot about the iMac G5, and will keep my eyes open for a motherboard on Ebay. Thank you all!
