I just got a 17 ³ Powerbook 5,3 that has had the back hinge replaced I notice there is a substantial gap at the hinge side of the unit when the lid is closed wondering if anyone else who has this unit could let me know if this is typical or is perhaps a bad hinge replacement. Just worried about pressures on the closed unit causing screen deformations/discolorations/cracking etc.
