Just broke off completely ... left one post on the mobo, 1/8 x 1/16 strip of metal with 2 holes folds onto a post into the mobo. Capacitors only have one post?

That is a surface mount capacitor. It's reasonably easy to replace IF you have the right tools. You definitely want ot call around to find someone who can work with Surface Mount devices.

More than likely it's going to cost > $45 to repair it, though.
