Thanks I ran Drive Genius 2 on the drive and reinstalled the 2010-002 update again also reinstalled the RipIT application and now it's working. The reason for running drive Genius was because CCC said I had a minor error on the transfer and the log stated an apple.finder error so disk utility couldn't fix that. After Drive genius fixed it I went all through the installs again at all's well now.
