I have had some expirience with PM G5 towers, and they do have some noisy fans, not to mention the annoying red LED light. Just to warn you, do be careful that your PM G5 IS NOT liquid cooled, because there were sooo many reports piling up saying that their processor cooling unit just exploded or leaked, causing logic board corrosion and/or processor damage. That happened to me the week after I bought mine back in '05, and Apple replaced it the next day I came to the store.
