G4 Sawtooth/350 running OS X 10.4.11 with 1.1gigs RAM. The machine randomly "freezes" i.e totally unresponsive to keyboard/mouse, necessitating a re-start. I have swapped the memory and HD from an identical box which runs flawlessly, to no avail.

Does unplugging the keyboard and/or mouse cause a response?

Is the screen totally frozen, or do the clock displays and such still update?

Console log
Jun 11 18:39:30 Macintosh diskarbitrationd[59]: SystemUIServer [207]:29251 not responding.

Disk controller (but not sure which) may have gone out to lunch. Need to see the whole system.log. Please zip that up and email it to me directly. Please indicate the exact times the freeze occured.

What's your HD configuration, internal and external?
