How do you mean 'networking'?
If you mean file sharing, OSX supports NFS and Samba, in Finder just
enter:
smb://<server name>/<share name>
or
nfs://<server name>/<share name>
If you enable file sharing on the mac, either FTP or SMB will work to
the others.
