What do you mean "Two Copies"? IN the Force Quit box? Are you having problems 
so often that you need to force-quit the finder?

IF so an archive & re-install might be called for (no need to erase and 
re-install). But if you're not having problems, I'd chalk it up to something 
wonky with the Force Quit dialog.

If you want to be absolutely sure, run Activity Monitor, it will show you all 
the processes running on the system; if finder is indeed running twice it will 
show as separate processes.

What version of OSX are you talking about?
