I have never had a problem with my MDD DP 1.42.Ghz (FW800) 2 GB Ram with a 120 GB drive and a 500 GB drive running 10.5.8 flawlessly.

I vote for them as the most reliable G4, but with one caveat. The air intake grill is set up under the front foot and it is possible to not know it is there or to forget to keep it clean. If it gets clogged with dust you will probably get a power supply failure. The power supply on both mine failed at the same time but, having it repaired was easy, and they are back at work. I'll accept the blame for not keeping the air intake grill free of dust. ====================== On Oct 28, 2010, at 10:00 PM, Bruce wrote: > Hello, > > Most Reliable G4 Tower: > > MDD Dual 1.25 > -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
