Well, it could be. But, what if...

- The Mac has no PCI slot? (Or no free slot)
- Owner doesn't want to open the computer?
- Owner doesn't want (can) to spend any more money?

Besides, this hack is really simple, much simpler than installing a PCI card
and re-routing the HD.
