Alas, the 7300 was designed and released as the 8600 and 9600 were being designed and released. Although the 7300 comes in a "7500 serles" case (as does the somewhat later G3 Desktop), it DOES NOT have a 7500-type PSU. Indeed, a 7300 has an 8600-/9600-type PSU. Also, the 7300 is a costed-down Mac ... no A-V capability. However, this can be quickly remedied. Pull out the 7300 mobo and install in its place an 8600 mobo and the A-V cable and connector which comes with it. Presto ... an 8600 in the space of a 7200/7500/7600/7300. -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
