I have a 20" ADC cinema display that I used to run on my G4 450 dual processor (Gigabit) machine with an AGP ATI Radeon 32mb video card upgrade from the standard ATI Radeon with 16mb with no issues. Unfortunately this machine bit the dust and I replaced it with a G4 450 single processor (AGP) machine with the same 32mb ATI Radeon video card upgrade and this machine will not power on the 20" ADC monitor. I have checked the cinema display on my G5 and it works fine. I can also run a high end Dell monitor with a VGA connection on the G4 attached to the VGA output of this same ATI Radeon 32mb card also with no problems, just not the Apple cinema display attached to the ADC port. I am not trying to run both monitors at the same time, just the cinema display only is preferred over the Dell. Do I need to get a different video card to run this monitor on this G4? Any help is appreciated very much!!
