AFAIK, there's no such thing as "Classic" version of OS9. It's just MacOS 9, and you can use it both for Classic and for booting into OS9 (if your Mac allows it - G5s don't). Some people (me included) keep two different OS9 installations for those two purposes, for having different set of extensiones and the like, but it's not mandatory. Since you will use OS9 just for Classic, don't worry about the above and install it.
