Semantics really - I should have said the dvi signal is kaput but twin vga is possible with an adapter - though some X800 pc cards will not successfully convert to mac for unknown reasons. I remember there being a thread on strangedogs about it. The explanation of the missing dvi signal was also on strangedogs some years ago - a dim memory now.... The Radeon 8500 64MB (not LE or 128MB) pc card is just about the easiest conversion from pc to mac - also the 9500, 9700 and 9800 though there are many different kinds of 9800 and not all will convert. Some problem 9800 cards are pointed out at mac elite wiki - but the newer ( in some cases brand new), cheaper 9800 cards from the far east will not convert - cheap tsop vram and half the memory interface....
