Yes, I don’t have any problem at all with Mac OS X 10.0 and 10.0.4, 10.2 and 10.2.8, 10.3 and 10.3.9, 10.4 and 10.4.2 and 10.4.11 as well as with 10.5.1 and 10.5.8. All these Mac OS X versions work great with the nVidia GeForce2 MX400 AGP graphics card, which is BTW from a Power Mac G4 Quicksilver (2001). The problem is only when booting Mac OS X Server 1.2v3. > > My guess is that this might be the reason why I see a “Mac OS X Server > > starting” message and shortly after that a gray screen and that’s it > > for more > > than 10 minutes. > > Use the verbose boot flag and see what the hang is, Cmd-v at startup > for one-time verbose; or for every-boot verbose, boot into Open > Firmware with Cmd-Opt-o-f keys at startup and type the command: setenv > boot-args -v I will eventually try that. But I don’t expect to do this anytime soon. I just swapped the HDDs back.
