Apologiy but It's not teh G5 but the iMac 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo

It's been running for weeks and seems the last time I changed the
opening password for starting the machine, I was too clever by half.
Just restarted and Even with the hint I used, I can NOT recall what
the password is.
How dead am I?
