Up until Yahoo forced the change to the New Mail, I was happily using the Classic version. Now that they have forced the change, I can't be the only one left behind. (Select all buttons are missing, Next buttons send you back to the list view every time you delete a correspondence, and untold numbers of other irritations.) What suggestions do any of you more savvy techs have as an alternate solution or at least a workaround to the offerings we Leopard users are left with.

What browser (and vers) are you using?

I was just puttering around in Yahoo's webmail this morning (my 'throwaway' email address), and had no big problems. Safari 5.0.6 w/ Leopard-WebKit. Overall it was crapyahootastic slow and typically cumbersome, but then their webmail interface has never been very good.

The "select all" function is there. At the top/above of the select checkboxes, there's an unlabeled checkbox with a wee triangle next to it. Click that box to select everything. Use the drop-down menu from the triangle to do other things.

The real alternate solution -- get off Yahoo Mail. Switch to Gmail. It's completely free, has a better web interface, and supports both POP3 and IMAP.
