I suppose the crucial info is the cpu temp - on my dual 1.25 MD the fan kicks into overdrive around 57 degrees - the istat widget will provide you with an alternative set of stats including temp and cpu usage - as I write this it is showing the cpu as 93% idle at 55 degrees. There are other temp/usage guages out there.......
