I use tvmobili with great success streaming from my mini (Mavericks) to my 
Samsung blu-ray, Samsung tv and even my PS3!  I think they offer an older 
unsupported version for ppc leopard if I recall correctly.  There is also Plex 
and a few other options.  Google “mac dlna server”. Have fun figuring out the 
options!
