You may have just a dirty machine or maybe your fan isn't functioning to spec anymore.... Also consider digging thru console boot messages, and try to align the time in there with any other errors that may have happened around that time. Digging around on LEM is also a good way to diagnose this as well, resetting apple open firmware, and the smc and so forth is usually a good way to tune up, and see what is really wrong with it. Also, get your hands on the apple hardware test disk, it's somewhere on the Internet !
