Hi, this question may be too soon to ask. I was having smtp problems
with Mail in 10.11.1 where I could not correct smtp garbles (which
didn't exist in 10.10.9) even if I deleted and re constructed certain
email addresses, no problem with any of my gmail accounts. Today I've
upgraded to 10.11.2 hoping that Apple fixed the bugs in Mail... and it
actually did. I was able to get all my accounts to send mail... but a
new problem arose with the 5 individual gmail accounts my wife and I
have. Now when I test the outgoing gmail out of the new Mail app, the
mail goes but each email from the individual account has the same
header on top using one of my wifes gmail account addresses, the same
one of her accounts in each message no matter which address was the
sender. When I check the smtp list in edit. it shows that smtp. gmail.
com has a list of all five accounts separated by commas. This is
something new as previously I would see each of the 5 accounts having
their email addresses in parens after their own smtp gmail address.
I'm just afraid that if I start editing this, which might be another
bug, I'll lose the outgoing function of those 5 addresses. Any ideas?
