There are two very similar situations where description boxes persist after navigating away. The first was fixed with version 1.3 - thanks. The second remains. The first was when someone IMs a link, and I click on it, the description stays when I navigate to the link. I have to return to the IM window to make it disappear. That was fixed. The second has to do with the description boxes in the buddy list. Many times they stay stuck on top of all windows (should not be coded to stay on top of all windows...just normal boxes that can be covered by other windows). I am constantly having to go back to the buddy list and hover my mouse over it to make a stuck buddy description go away. As you fix this, you may want to go the next step and give us an option to turn off all description boxes. They are quite irritating and unnecessary to me (knowing others may like them). Your bug is being moved to our "gtk bugs" tracker, where it will be grouped with similar bugs.
