The device it is trying to access is on a media reader. For me the issue was with the SmartMedia / xD slot. The rest of the slots seemed to have no problem. It would be nice if someone posted a bypass. Your bug is being moved to our "gtk bugs" tracker, where it will be grouped with similar bugs. It has been fixed upstream, but a new version of atk (one of the components of GTK+) has not been released yet (when that happens, this bug will go away).
