Earlier this week, I submitted the application for Google Summer of Code for 
the Open Genomic Informatics group. Google will be reviewing the application 
over the next few days  If you have any project ideas, please submit your ideas

available on this page. One key difference this year is that the project time 
should be completed in 175 or 350 hours (part time vs fulll time). Please take
