Several differences are mixed (version and distribution), so it is hard to guess where the problem comes from! Is it possible for you to write a little project that isolates the problem? A little project with a LostFocus() that works on OpenSuSE with Gambas 2.17, and not on Ubuntu with Gambas 2.19.
