I used PRIVATE myDB as NEW Connection ... WITH myDB .Type = "odbc" .Host = "localhost" .Login = "Admin" .Name = "E4Y" END WITH TRY myDB.Open I think it may be time to give up on Gambas (for *this* task) and look at Java.
