Not an answer but another observation. I've got gambas3 running on 2 laptops (one kubuntu 9, one kubuntu 12) and 6 desktops at work (kubuntu 10 or 11). My Nvidia laptops draw all the graphics fine. Machines with intel on board have problems - sometimes the popup lists or columnview have an outline but the contents of the lists not visible - one can arrow up/down, select a line and I know the content is there because my code will verify it. I've looked till I'm blue in the face trying to find a solution. Dosnt appear to be a .raise problem. Anyone else noticed this sort of stuff? richard > > Regards > > Rolf > > Am 12.04.2012 12:30, schrieb gam...@googlecode.com: > > Status: New > > Owner: ---- > > Labels: Version Type-Bug Priority-Medium OpSys-Any Dist-Any Arch-Any > > Desktop-Any GUI-Any > > > > New issue 231 by ronmcina...@yahoo.co.uk: Possible to build Gambas3 > > against GTK? > > http://code.google.com/p/gambas/issues/detail?id=231 > > > > Not a problem with Gambas3 but a request.
