That's true. Hm. Overridden is not overwritten/written over. And again, it is not "writing" but "riding", kind of "arrogantly ignoring it", "not respecting it", something like that. But in German they use "schreiben". "Overload" and "override" are not the same, though in some translations they both appear as "überladen". That's completely wrong.
